My name is Stefanie. I am a slovakian buffalo girl who always was country at heart. Finally as a wife, mom, artist and registered dietitian I’m planting my roots on 10 acres of dirt and tumble weeds. The dream for country life and farming is alive although some “rude awakenings” (as my darling hubby would say) are coming my way with, I’m sure, some great opportunities for humor as I learn the ropes. This is my journey to the sweetness of the simple things in life. My passion is to inspire & equip others toward simple living! Living in the moment with gratitude and intention, loving oneself and others with purpose and reaching your dreams with creativity and vision is what Simple Acres is about. Join me as I lean into that ever present voice guiding me towards what really matters…the love for family, the fun of farming, tasty food and art in all forms! I’m Kristi – wife to the most adventurous man I know and Mommy to the sweetest little guy! These two are my world, but they definitely know how to keep a gal on her toes!!! We’ve recently moved back to our small hometown in northern AB – surrounded by friendly faces, big skies and SO many fun things to do, we’re absolutely thrilled to be {home}! I am a former teacher turned stay-at- home mama and blogger. I enjoy crafty DIY projects and tweaking home decor to make it my own, all in limited time with minimal power tool use. And preferably with a nice cup of tea. After recently moving into a new home, I’ve been working on organizing and making rooms pretty, but still functional with the kiddos. Well hello there friends. My name is Jes and I am a wife, a mother, a Netflix lover, and I have a love painting furniture and decorating my home DIY style! In high school I had a teacher call me a quitter and gave up on me just because I wanted to try something new. I did it anyway and excelled but I have always had the constant fear of others judging me. I think moms tend to be the hardest on themselves so I hope to create a community of encouragement and love. No judgements! My DIY Envy was developed to encourage women to develop their talents and establish a home they love. I believe in constantly learning and trying new things I share easy DIY tutorials, recipes and tips for creating a home you love on a budget.

Megan Ballarini lives in sunny Florida with her husband, son Leo, and white boxer Daisy. She’s a dental hygienist by day and a maker by night. She has a bit of crafting ADD, always working on, or dreaming of new projects. She loves color, vintage mixed with new, feminine mixed with rustic, and absolutely anything nautical!
