From redoing the shelving to painting and accessories, this space went from drab to pretty fab!
We have the other side of the room still to make over but head over to Angie’s List in the meantime to take a looksie at the full reveal and the 9 other spaces that were made over on tight budgets. UPDATE: Lots of questions about the paint color:
Now we’re off to tackle the storage part of this space, stay tuned! Check out more of our room makeovers like our Craft Room Refresh,

I may be the only crazy one on here, but I enjoy doing laundry, lol. And my laundry room is a walk thru to the garage so it’s very small, but I’d love to paint it and do something with the cabinets in there. Yours looks adorable, I love the colors. When you say “on a budget” , how much were you able to do it for?
Hi Candy, yes you are crazy 😀 Hahahah just teasing, please come do mine since you enjoy it!!
The challenge was $500 but we spent less than $300 🙂
Super pretty! Does it make doing laundry any more fun?! Visiting from Talk of the Town.
Looks beautiful! I might have to bring my laundry over 😉
What an amazing makeover! Thanks for sharing.
Just having a room dedicated to laundry would be great. Our washer and dryer is in our back hallway. Totally in the way of everything. I love how organized yours is and thank you for sharing with us this week at Celebrate Your Story, have a great weekend.
Everything looks great!

Love it so much. I need a laundry room make over. It’s kind of my catch all room!
WOW! Great job! I wouldn’t mind doing laundry in there! Thanks for sharing on Homestead Blog Hop!
I thought I’d be a little more motivated but yaaaaaaah, I got unmotivated after the second load, hahah!
Laundry and I just don’t get along but I have a feeling if my laundry room looked more like this I might be open to spending more time in it. You did great, ladies! Beautifully Candid
Laundry is the worst. Thanks so much, Sierra! XO

I love the way this turned out! Thanks for sharing at the Family Joy Blog Link Party this week!
My laundry room is just scary–in a dark back room in our basement, surrounded by cement floors and cement block walls. lol. This laundry room update is fabulous! Thank you for sharing at Merry Monday!
Love the paint color for the laundry room! What is it?
Thank you, Katy! It’s Sherwin-Williams ‘Comfort Gray’ 🙂
Hope to see you at Family Joy Blog Link Up Party again. You are being featured this Sunday. Yay!
Laundry room looks great! I have pinned it for later as I am planning to do mine too in the not too distant future.
Laundry wouldn’t be such a drag in a pretty space like yours!
When I read this quote about re-doing the laundry area, (“… I kept the fresh soaps and stored the excess in the washer and dryer pedestals. This left me thinking: “Why didn’t I use that space before? Duh!”)
I do love the light over the utility sink and the clock.
It is so nice to make pretty changes… it brightens the daily work. 🙂
I would love to do over my Laundry room – it is on my list to sort out
Love the clock! Where did you get it????
Thanks Sherri! It’s from Rod Works (:
